| The German Drinkbook "Bowlen und Pünsche" has been published first 1899 as an addition to the "Universallexikon der Kochkunst" an encyclopedia of cooking art first published 1881 in Leipzig.
Remarkable is, that the illustration of the two part shaker is obviously from the same artist as the illustrations in the 1900 edition of Harry Johnson's "Handbuch fuer Bartender"
